Our bodues are in need of good maintenance and ample care. When you experience a pain or ache, you consider taking aspirin for relieving the pain. However, what just happens is that we cover up the pain and not dealing with it.

- Observe you feet, and see if they turn out or in, or if one is forward

- Try to stand on each leg one at a time. See if you are standing easily on one leg compared to another.
If you see yourself answering yes to any of the questions, you have the signs of misalignment. The body is showing wear of transferring workload to other parts of the body.
For a quick test on if posture has an effect on your pain, do this:
- Stand up and make a rating of your pain on a scale of 1-10. After that, pigeon toe your feet with the toes toughing. Tighten the thighs, and see if it changes your pain.
- Stand normally, while interlacing hands behind the head. Pull elbows as far away as you can. Note if the pain will increase or decrease.
Such positions work to change one’s posture. If either position shows that you changed your pain, it informs you that your posture has a hand in it. You can think that by bringing the body back to proper alignment and bringing back normal joint function, you can have a positive impact on the pain you experience.
